ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು-- ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತಾರು ವರುಷಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದವು; ನೀನು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವಿಯೋ ಅಂದರು.

Adakke yehoodyaru-- ee devaalayavannu kattuvadakke naalvattaaru varushagalu hididavu; neenu mooru dinagalalli adannu ebbisuviyo andaru.

18ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
19ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಈ ದೇವಾಲ ಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿದರೆ ನಾನು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
20ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು-- ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತಾರು ವರುಷಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದವು; ನೀನು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವಿಯೋ ಅಂದರು.
21ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದೇಹವೆಂಬ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
22ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎದ್ದಮೇಲೆ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆನಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರಹವನ್ನೂ ಯೇಸು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಂಬಿದರು.
