ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎದ್ದಮೇಲೆ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನೆನಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರಹವನ್ನೂ ಯೇಸು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಂಬಿದರು.

- 23ಆತನು ಪಸ್ಕಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅನೇಕರು ನೋಡಿ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.
- 24ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಅರಿತ ವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.ಆತನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಅಂತರಂಗವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವನಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಯಾರೂ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
