ಆದರೆ ಮರಿಯಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಳು; ಆಕೆಯು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಸಮಾಧಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ

9ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಎದ್ದೇಳುವದು ಅಗತ್ಯವೆಂಬ ಬರಹವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
10ತರು ವಾಯ ಆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದರು.
11ಆದರೆ ಮರಿಯಳು ಹೊರಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಳು; ಆಕೆಯು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಸಮಾಧಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ
12ಯೇಸು ವಿನ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಳೀವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ದೂತರು, ಒಬ್ಬನು ತಲೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೂ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಪಾದಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೂ, ಕೂತಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಳು.
13ಅವರು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೇ, ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಅಳುತ್ತೀ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಆಕೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಅವರು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆತನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲೀ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೋ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದಳು.
