ಆಗ--ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿ ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಮಾತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅನೇಕ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದವರು ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.

- 40ಹೀಗೆ ಆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದವರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆತನು ತಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆತನು ಎರಡು ದಿವಸ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡನು.
- 41ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ಆತನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಾತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆತನನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದರು.
