ಆತನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಉಳಿದನು.

7ಲೋಕವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಲಾರದು; ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಕೆಟ್ಟವುಗಳಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅದರ ವಿಷಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳುವದರಿಂದ ಅದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
8ನೀವು ಈ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಈ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಈಗಲೇ ಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಮಯವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
9ಆತನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಉಳಿದನು.
10ಆದರೆ ಆತನ ಸಹೋದರರು ಹೋದಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಸಹ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗದೆ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.
11ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಆ ಹಬ್ಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ--ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದರು.
