ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೋಗಬಾರದು; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಹಗಲು ಅದನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸಫಲಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಮಹಾ ಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾಗುವಿ.

6ಬಲವಾಗಿರು, ದೃಢವಾಗಿರು; ಈ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಬಾದ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಡುವಿ.
7ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೆಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆ ಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿರು, ಬಹು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರು, ನೀನು ಹೋಗುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಫಲವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು (ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು) ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಲ ಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತಿರುಗಬೇಡ.
8ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೋಗಬಾರದು; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಹಗಲು ಅದನ್ನು ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸಫಲಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಮಹಾ ಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾಗುವಿ.
9ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾ ಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ; ಬಲವಾಗಿರು, ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರು; ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ನಿರಾಶೆಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ. ನೀನು ಹೋಗು ವಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
10ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಜನರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ--
