3. 11ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಬೇತ್‌ಹೋರೋನಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಅಜೇಕದ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೀಳಿಸಿದನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೊಂದವರಿಗಿಂತ ಕಲ್ಲು ಮಳೆ ಯಿಂದ ಸತ್ತವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
4. 12ಕರ್ತನು ಅಮೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋ ಶುವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ--ಸೂರ್ಯನೇ, ನೀನು ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚಂದ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಅಯ್ಯಾಲೋನ್‌ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿರು ಅಂದನು.
