ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ವರೆಗೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಹಾರದಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರು ಕೋಟೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದರು.

- 22ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು--ನೀವು ಗವಿಯ ಬಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಆ ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಗವಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ತನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
