ಜನರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕೇದದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾಳೆಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದರು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ತನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಾಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

- 23ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆ ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸರನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಯರ್ಮೂತಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಲಾಕೀಷಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಎಗ್ಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಆ ಗವಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದರು.
