ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆ ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸರನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಯರ್ಮೂತಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಲಾಕೀಷಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಎಗ್ಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಆ ಗವಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದರು.
Avaru haageye maadidaru. Aa aidu mandi arasarannu andare yeroosalemina arasanannoo hebronina arasanannoo yarmootina arasanannoo laakeeshina arasanannoo eglonina arasanannoo aa gaviyolaginda avana balige horage tandaru.

- 23ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆ ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸರನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಯರ್ಮೂತಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಲಾಕೀಷಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಎಗ್ಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಆ ಗವಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದರು.
- 24ಅವರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕರಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.
- 25ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಭಯ ಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನಿರುತ್ಸಾಹಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಬಲಗೊಂಡು ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ನೀವು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುವನು ಅಂದನು.
