1. 1ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಅವನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಶಿಟ್ಟೀಮಿ ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ದಾಟುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳು ಕೊಂಡರು.
2. 2ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಳು ದಂಡಿನೊಳಗೆ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗಿ
3. 3ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ--ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಲೇವಿಯರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊರುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಾಗ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಅದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು.
4. 4ಆದರೆ ನಿಮಗೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಮೊಳ ದೂರ ಇರಬೇಕು. ನೀವು ಹೋಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಎಂದಾದರೂ ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಿರು ವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
