ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆಹೋಶುವ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--

- 3ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಜಕರ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಆಚೇದಡಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು ನೀವು ಈ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾ ಪಿಸು ಅಂದನು.
