ಎಲ್ಲವು ಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಬಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವವು. ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೂ ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೂ ಸಂಗತಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಿಗೂ ಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವವನಿಗೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸದವನಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವದು. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ವನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪಾಪಿಯೂ ಇರುವನು; ಆಣೆಯಿಡು ವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಣೆಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವ ವನೂ ಇರುವನು.

King James Version (KJV): All [things come] alike to all: [there is] one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as [is] the good, so [is] the sinner; [and] he that sweareth, as [he] that feareth an oath.

2ಎಲ್ಲವು ಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಬಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವವು. ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೂ ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೂ ಸಂಗತಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಿಗೂ ಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವವನಿಗೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸದವನಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವದು. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ವನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪಾಪಿಯೂ ಇರುವನು; ಆಣೆಯಿಡು ವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಣೆಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವ ವನೂ ಇರುವನು.
3ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೂ ಒಂದು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದು; ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಂದು ಗತಿಯಿದೆ; ಹೌದು, ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರರ ಹೃದಯಗಳು ಸಹ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿವೆ; ಅವರು ಜೀವಿಸುವಾಗ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಚ್ಚು ತನವಿದೆ. ಅನಂತರ ಅವರು ಸಾಯುತ್ತಾರೆ (ಸತ್ತವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.)
4ಜೀವಂತರಾಗಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲ ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡವನಿಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇರುವದು. ಸತ್ತ ಸಿಂಹಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಬದುಕಿರುವ ನಾಯಿಯೇ ಲೇಸು.
