ತೇಪೆಹಾಕಿದ ಹಳೇ ದಾದ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು, ಹಳೇ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಒಣಗಿದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು

- 6ಅವರು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ಪಾಳೆಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವ ನಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೂ--ನಾವು ದೂರ ದೇಶ ದಿಂದ ಬಂದೆವು; ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದರು.
- 7ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರು ಆಗಿರಬಹುದು; ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದು ಹೇಗೆ ಅಂದರು.
