2. 28ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಯೆಪ್ತಾಹನು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಅರಸನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದನು.
3. 29ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಯೆಪ್ತಾಹನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂತು. ಅವನು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್‌ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಸೀಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಿಚ್ಪೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆದುರಿಗೆ ಹಾದುಹೋದನು.
4. 30ಯೆಪ್ತಾಹನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ--ನೀನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ
5. 31ನಾನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬರುವಂಥದ್ದು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನದಾಗಿರುವದು. ಅದನ್ನು ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
