2. 3ಆಗ ಸಂಸೋನನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತುನಾನು ಈ ಸಾರಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನುಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿರುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಮುನ್ನೂರು ನರಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು
3. 4ಪಂಜುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಬಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಲ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಎರಡು ಬಾಲಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಒಂದು ಪಂಜನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ
4. 5ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಹಚ್ಚಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಪೈರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ತೆನೆ ಗೂಡುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪೈರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಪ್ಪೆಯ ತೋಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
5. 6ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು--ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದವರು ಯಾರು ಅಂದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು--ತಿಮ್ನಾ ಊರಿನ ಅಳಿಯ ನಾದ ಸಂಸೋನನು ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಜೊತೆ ಗಾರನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು ಅಂದರು. ಆಗ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಬಂದು ಅವಳನ್ನೂ ಅವಳ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
