1. 21ಏಹೂದನು ತನ್ನ ಎಡಗೈ ಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಲಗಡೆ ತೊಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಠಾರಿ ಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿವಿದನು.
2. 22ಅದು ಅಲಗೂ ಹಿಡಿಯೂ ಅವನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಕ್ಕು ಕಿತ್ತು ತೆಗೆಯ ಕೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೊಬ್ಬು ಅಲಗನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
3. 23ಆದದರಿಂದ ಮಲವು ಹೊರಟಿತು. ಆಗ ಏಹೂದನು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬೀಗವನ್ನುಹಾಕಿ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳ ದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.
4. 24ಅವನು ಹೋದ ತರುವಾಯ ಸೇವಕರು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ--ಅರಸನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳು ತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು
5. 25ಅವರು ತಮಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಯಾಗುವ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಕಾದಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬೀಗದ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ತೆರೆದರು, ಇಗೋ, ಅವರ ಪ್ರಭುವು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸತ್ತು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದನು.
