ಅವನು ಹೋದ ತರುವಾಯ ಸೇವಕರು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ--ಅರಸನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳು ತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು

Avanu hoda taruvaaya sevakaru kothadiya baagalu muchchalpa ttiruvadannu kandaaga--arasanu nishchayavaagi tanna besigeya kothadiyalli vishraanti tegedukollu ttiddaanendu andukondu

King James Version (KJV): When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlour [were] locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber.
World English Bible (WEB): After he had gone, his servants came and saw that the doors of the upper room were locked. They said, “Surely he is covering his feet in the upper room.”

23ಆದದರಿಂದ ಮಲವು ಹೊರಟಿತು. ಆಗ ಏಹೂದನು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬೀಗವನ್ನುಹಾಕಿ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳ ದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.
24ಅವನು ಹೋದ ತರುವಾಯ ಸೇವಕರು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟಿರುವದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ--ಅರಸನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳು ತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು
25ಅವರು ತಮಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಯಾಗುವ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಕಾದಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಬೀಗದ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ತೆರೆದರು, ಇಗೋ, ಅವರ ಪ್ರಭುವು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸತ್ತು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದನು.
26ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಆಲಸ್ಯಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರು ವಾಗ ಏಹೂದನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಸೆಯಾರಾವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
