ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದರು. ಆಶೇರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜೆಬುಲೂನಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಬಂದರು.

- 36ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು ವಿಯಾದರೆ
- 37ಇಗೋ, ಉಣ್ಣೆಯ ಗುಜ್ಜನ್ನು ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುವೆನು. ಮಂಜು ಉಣ್ಣೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಇದ್ದು ಭೂಮಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಣಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಿ ಎಂಬದನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
