ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದೇವರು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಒಣಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಂಜು ಇತ್ತು.

38ಅದು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು. ಅವನು ಮರುದಿನ ಉದಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ಉಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರೊಳ ಗಿದ್ದ ಮಂಜಿನ ನೀರನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಬೋಗುಣಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಿಂಡಿದನು.
39ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯಬಾರದು. ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಸಾರಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸು ವೆನು. ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಒಣಗುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಂಜು ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದೇವರು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಒಣಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಂಜು ಇತ್ತು.
