ಅವನು ಜೆಬಹನಿಗೂ ಚಲ್ಮುನ್ನನಿಗೂ--ನೀವು ತಾಬೋರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಹೇಗಿದ್ದರು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವರು--ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ; ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರು ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾ ಗಿದ್ದರು ಅಂದರು.
Avanu jebahanigoo chalmunnanigoo--neevu taaboradalli konduhaakida aa manushyaru hegiddaru andanu. Adakkavaru--ninna haageye; avaru obbobbaru roopadalli arasana makkalaa giddaru andaru.

- 19ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರು; ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವದ ಆಣೆ ನೀವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
- 20ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾದ ಎತೆರನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೆದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕು ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಯುವಕನು ತನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚದೆ ಹೋದನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹುಡುಗನಾದದರಿಂದ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟನು.
