ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇದ್ದ ತಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಲಿಲ್ಲ.ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಗಿದ್ಯೋನನೆಂಬ ಯೆರುಬ್ಬಾಳ್‌ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಕಲ ಉಪಕಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ದಯೆ ತೋರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
