ಆಗ ಆರೋನನ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರು ಅದರ ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ತಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನೂ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಇಡಬೇಕು;

- 9ಅದರ ಕರುಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆಯಬೇಕು; ಯಾಜಕನು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯಾಗು ವಂತೆಯೂ ಸುಡಬೇಕು.
- 10ದಹನಬಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯು ಮಂದೆ ಯಿಂದಾದರೆ ಅವನು ಕುರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಆಡನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ಗಂಡನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು.
