ಆಗ ಜಕರೀಯನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಜನರು ಅವನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ತಡಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

- 22ಅವನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಲಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದನು; ಅದಕ್ಕ ವರು ಅವನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಕಂಡನೆಂದು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಮಾತಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
- 23ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಯ ದಿನಗಳು ಮುಗಿದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.
