1. 59ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಎಂಟನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಂತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಜಕರೀಯನೆಂದು ಕರೆದರು.
2. 60ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ವಾಗಿ--ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಯೋಹಾನನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯ ಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದಳು.
3. 61ಅದಕ್ಕವರು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಬಂಧುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
4. 62ಅವನು ಯಾವ ಹೆಸರಿ ನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಸನ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
