1ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಫರಿಸಾಯರ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಊಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹೊಂಚಿನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು.
2ಇಗೋ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜಲೊದರವುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಆತನ ಎದು ರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದನು.
3ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ನ್ಯಾಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಫರಿಸಾಯರಿಗೂ--ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡುವದು ನ್ಯಾಯವೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
4ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಪಡಿಸಿಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
