ಆಗ ಅವರು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮುರಿಯುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೇಗೆ ಆತನ ಗುರುತು ಹಿಡಿದರೆಂದೂ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

- 36ಅವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಯೇಸು ತಾನೇ ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 37ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ದಿಗಿಲುಬಿದ್ದು ಭಯಹಿಡಿದವರಾಗಿ ತಾವು ಕಂಡದ್ದು ಭೂತವೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದರು.
