ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಹಿಡಿದ ವಿಾನುಗಳ ರಾಶಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದವರೂ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

- 10ಸೀಮೋನನ ಕೂಡ ಪಾಲುಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜೆಬೆದಾಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬ ಯೋಹಾನರೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಸೀಮೋನನಿಗೆ--ಹೆದರಬೇಡ. ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ನೀನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 11ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೋಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ದಡಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು.
