ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾರಣೆಯ ದಿನ ಆತನು ನಾಯಿನೆಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರೂ ಬಹು ಜನರೂ ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದರು.

- 11ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾರಣೆಯ ದಿನ ಆತನು ನಾಯಿನೆಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರೂ ಬಹು ಜನರೂ ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದರು.
- 12ಆತನು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದ್ವಾರದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಸತ್ತುಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಮಗನು; ಆಕೆಯು ವಿಧವೆಯಾಗಿ ದ್ದಳು. ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಹಳ ಜನರು ಆಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದರು.
- 13ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಿಕರಪಟ್ಟು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಅಳಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು.
