1. 7ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
2. 8ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರು ಒಂದೇ ಶರೀರವಾಗಿರುವರು; ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಇನ್ನು ಇಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲ, ಒಂದೇ ಶರೀರವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
3. 9ಆದದರಿಂದ ದೇವರು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅಗಲಿಸದಿರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
4. 10ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೇ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದರು.
5. 11ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ-- ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದರೆ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವವನಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ.
