ಹಳೆಯ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಹಾಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ಹಾಕುವದರಿಂದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿಹೋಗುವದು ಮತ್ತು ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳು ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋಗು ವವು. ಆದರೆ ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹಾಕಿಡತಕ್ಕದ

- 23ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೈರಿನ ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಕಾಳಿನ ತೆನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೀಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
- 24ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಬಾರದ್ದನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ಮಾಡು ತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
