1. 38ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿವೆ? ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡಿರಿ ಅನ್ನಲು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು--ಐದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡು ವಿಾನುಗಳು ಇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
2. 39ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಸುರು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಂಕ್ತಿ ಪಂಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

4. 41ಆಗ ಆತನು ಐದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡು ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹಂಚಿದನು.
5. 42ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಿಂದು ತೃಪ್ತರಾದರು.
