1. 41ಆಗ ಆತನು ಐದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡು ವಿಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಹಂಚಿದನು.
2. 42ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಿಂದು ತೃಪ್ತರಾದರು.

4. 44ಆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದವರು ಸುಮಾರು ಐದು ಸಾವಿರ ಗಂಡಸರು.
5. 45ಆತನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಕೂಡಲೆ ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಆಚೇ ಕಡೆಯ ಬೇತ್ಸಾಯಿದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
