ಮತ್ತೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವರು ಪೇತ್ರನಿಗೆ--ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಸಹ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಭಾಷೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ ಅಂದರು.

- 75ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು--ಹುಂಜವು ಕೂಗುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆ ಯುವಿ ಎಂದು ಯೇಸು ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಹು ವ್ಯಥೆಪಟ್ಟು ಅತ್ತನು.
