ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ--ಇವನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಎಂದು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿಸಿದರು.

35ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಇದು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಆಯಿತು. ಅದೇನಂದರೆ--ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಅಂಗಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿ
36ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
37ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ--ಇವನು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಎಂದು ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿಸಿದರು.
38ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಎಡಗಡೆಯ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕಳ್ಳರನ್ನು ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
39ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ--
