9ಕರ್ತನ ಸ್ವರವು ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನೋಡುವನು; ಬೆತ್ತ ವನ್ನೂ ಅದನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದವನನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
10ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದಂಥ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದ ಅಳತೆಯೂ ಉಂಟೋ?
11ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದ ತ್ರಾಸುಗಳುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಮೋಸವಾದ ಕಲ್ಲು ಗಳ ಚೀಲವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಲರೆಂದೆಣಿಸುವೆನೋ?
12ಅದರ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವವ ರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪಟವುಳ್ಳದ್ದೇ.
13ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಸಹ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ನಿನಗೆ ರೋಗವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವೆನು.
