ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ವಾಗಿ ತಿಂದ ವಿಾನು ಸವತೆಕಾಯಿ ಕರ್ಬೂಜ ಕಾಡುಳ್ಳಿ ನೀರುಳ್ಳಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳುಳ್ಳಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

3ಕರ್ತನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ದಹಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಬೇರ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು.
4ಆಗ ಅವರೊಳಗಿದ್ದ ಮಿಶ್ರವಾದ ಗುಂಪಿನ ಜನರು ದುರಾಶೆಪಟ್ಟರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಹ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅತ್ತು--ನಮಗೆ ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ವವರು ಯಾರು?
5ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ವಾಗಿ ತಿಂದ ವಿಾನು ಸವತೆಕಾಯಿ ಕರ್ಬೂಜ ಕಾಡುಳ್ಳಿ ನೀರುಳ್ಳಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳುಳ್ಳಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
6ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಯಿತು; ಈ ಮನ್ನವಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವದೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.
7ಆ ಮನ್ನವು ಕೊತ್ತುಂಬರಿ ಬೀಜದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಬಣ್ಣವು ಬದೋಲಖ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಹಾಗಿತ್ತು.
