1. 1ಜನರು ಗುಣುಗುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಅದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕರ್ತನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಗೊಂಡನು. ಕರ್ತನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಹಿಸಿತು.
2. 2ಆಗ ಜನರು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆಗ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಆರಿಹೋಯಿತು.
3. 3ಕರ್ತನ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ದಹಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಬೇರ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು.
4. 4ಆಗ ಅವರೊಳಗಿದ್ದ ಮಿಶ್ರವಾದ ಗುಂಪಿನ ಜನರು ದುರಾಶೆಪಟ್ಟರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಹ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅತ್ತು--ನಮಗೆ ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ವವರು ಯಾರು?
5. 5ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ವಾಗಿ ತಿಂದ ವಿಾನು ಸವತೆಕಾಯಿ ಕರ್ಬೂಜ ಕಾಡುಳ್ಳಿ ನೀರುಳ್ಳಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳುಳ್ಳಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
