ಅಪವಿತ್ರನಾದವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪಾಪ ಕಳೆಯುವ ಹಸುವಿನ ಬೂದಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯೊಳಗಿಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿಯುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು

- 18ಪವಿತ್ರನಾದವನೊಬ್ಬನು ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದಿ ಆ ಡೇರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಎಲುಬನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸತ್ತವನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಬೇಕು.
- 19ಪವಿತ್ರನಾ ದವನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರನಾದವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಏಳನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಲಿ. ಏಳನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನು ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗುವನು.
