ಪವಿತ್ರನಾದವನೊಬ್ಬನು ಹಿಸ್ಸೋಪನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ದಿ ಆ ಡೇರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಎಲುಬನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸತ್ತವನನ್ನಾದರೂ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಬೇಕು.

19ಪವಿತ್ರನಾ ದವನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರನಾದವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಏಳನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಲಿ. ಏಳನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನು ಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗುವನು.
20ಆದರೆ ಅಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗಿದ್ದು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳದವನು ಸಭೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಲ್ಪ ಡಲಿ; ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ನೀರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರನೇ.
