1. 8ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯಿಂದ ಉರಿ ಸರ್ಪದ ಆಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಂಬದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡು; ಆಗ ಕಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ಪಿಯಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಬದುಕುವರು ಅಂದನು.
2. 9ಮೋಶೆಯು ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯ ಸರ್ಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಕಂಬದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಾಗ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, ಸರ್ಪವು ಕಚ್ಚಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯ ಸರ್ಪದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಬದುಕಿದನು.
3. 10ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೊರಟು ಓಬೋತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.
4. 11ಓಬೋತಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಮೋವಾಬ್‌ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ದುರಾಗಿ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಯ್ಯೇ ಅಬಾರೀಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.
5. 12ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೊರಟು ಜೆರೆದೆಂಬ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳುಕೊಂಡರು.
