ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯಿಂದ ಉರಿ ಸರ್ಪದ ಆಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಂಬದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡು; ಆಗ ಕಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ಪಿಯಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಬದುಕುವರು ಅಂದನು.
