ಬಾಮೋತಿನಿಂದ ಮೋವಾಬ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ರುವ ಕಣಿವೆಯಿಂದ ಪಿಸ್ಗಾವೆಂಬ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು; ಇದು ಯೇಷೀಮೋನಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

- 21ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
- 22ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು; ನಾವು ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟುವ ವರೆಗೆ ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವೆ.
