ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಎದ್ದು ಬಾಲಾಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಬಿಳಾಮನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರಲೊಲ್ಲನು ಅಂದರು.

12ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಬಿಳಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆನೀನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗಬೇಡ; ನೀನು ಆ ಜನವನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಬೇಡ; ಅದು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
13ಆಗ ಬಿಳಾಮನು ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಾಲಾಕನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿ,
14ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಎದ್ದು ಬಾಲಾಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಬಿಳಾಮನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರಲೊಲ್ಲನು ಅಂದರು.
15ಆದರೆ ಬಾಲಾಕನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಇವರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಘನವುಳ್ಳವರಾದ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
16ಅವರು ಬಿಳಾಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಚಿಪ್ಪೋರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾಲಾಕನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವದೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡಬಾರದು.
