- 18ಬಾಲಾ ಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ಸಾಮ್ಯರೂಪವಾಗಿ--ಬಾಲಾಕನೇ, ಎದ್ದು ಕೇಳು; ಚಿಪ್ಪೋರನ ಮಗನೇ, ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು.
- 19ಸುಳ್ಳಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲ, ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನರಪುತ್ರನಲ್ಲ; ಆತನು ನುಡಿದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡದಿರುವನೇ? ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸನೇ?
