ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಇಗೋ, ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಏಲಿ ಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತೇನು? ನನಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಬೇಡ. ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸಕಲ ವಾರ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಯಾವದನ್ನಾದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿದರೆ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
Adakkavanu--igo, iddene andanu. Eli yu avanige--kartanu ninage helida maatenu? Nanage adannu maremaadabeda. Kartanu ninage helida sakala vaartegalalli neenu yaavadannaadaroo nanage maremaadidare devaru ninage adakkinta adhikavaagi maadali andanu.

- 15ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಉದಯದವರೆಗೂ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದನು. ಆದರೆ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಏಲಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಭಯ ಪಟ್ಟನು.
- 16ಆಗ ಏಲಿಯು ಸಮುವೇಲನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸಮುವೇಲನೇ ಅಂದನು.
- 17ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಇಗೋ, ಇದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಏಲಿ ಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತೇನು? ನನಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಬೇಡ. ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸಕಲ ವಾರ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಯಾವದನ್ನಾದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿದರೆ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 18ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಒಂದನ್ನೂ ಮರೆಮಾಡದೆ ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಅದು ಕರ್ತನದೇ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಆತನು ಸರಿತೋರುವದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
- 19ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದನು; ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದು ಆತನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾ ದರೂ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗಗೊಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
