ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು --ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹವಿದೆ, ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Somaariyu --daariyalli sinhavide, beedigalalli sinha ide endu heluttaane.

11ತಾನು ಕಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಯಿಯು ತಿರುಗುವಂತೆ ಮೂಢನು ತನ್ನ ಮೂಢತನಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
12ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದವನನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿ ದ್ದೀಯೋ? ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಮೂಢನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಇರುತ್ತದೆ,
13ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು --ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹವಿದೆ, ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
14ಬಾಗಲು ತಿರುಗುಣಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
15ಸೋಮಾ ರಿಯು ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತಿರುಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊರಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
