ಸೋಮಾ ರಿಯು ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತಿರುಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊರಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Somaa riyu edeyalli tanna kaiyannu muchchikolluttaane; tirugi adannu tanna baayiya hattira taruvadakke koraguttaane.

Proverbs 26:15 in English

King James Version (KJV): The slothful hideth his hand in [his] bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth.

13ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು --ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹವಿದೆ, ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
14ಬಾಗಲು ತಿರುಗುಣಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
15ಸೋಮಾ ರಿಯು ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತಿರುಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊರಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
16ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು ನೆವ ಹೇಳುವ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿಗಿಂತ ಜಾಣನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
17ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ತನ್ನದಾಗ ದಿರುವ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಹಾಕುವವನು ಕಿವಿಹಿಡಿದು ನಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವನಂತೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
