1ಅರಸನಾದ ಲೆಮೂವೇಲನ ಮಾತುಗಳು, ಅಂದರೆ ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯು.
2ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ ಏನು? ನನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭಪುತ್ರನೇ ಏನು? ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯ ಮಗನೇ ಏನು?
3ನಿನ್ನ ತ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸದಿರು, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅರಸರನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವ ದಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಬೇಡ.
4ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿ ಯುವದು ರಾಜರಿಗೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಲ್ಲ; ಓ ಲೆಮೂ ವೇಲನೇ, ಅದು ಅರಸರಿಗೆ ಬೇಡ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಪ್ರಭುಗ ಳಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವದು ಹಿತವಲ್ಲ;
