ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೂ ಶುದ್ಧ ಹೃದಯದವರಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು.
A Psalm of Asaph. Truly God [is] good to Israel, [even] to such as are of a clean heart.
ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗಾದರೋ ಅವು ತಪ್ಪುವ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದವು, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು ಜಾರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹು ಸವಿಾಪವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
ದುಷ್ಟರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಮೂರ್ಖರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಕಿಚ್ಚು ಪಟ್ಟೆನು.
For I was envious at the foolish, [when] I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
ಅವರ ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂಧನಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲ; ಅವರ ತ್ರಾಣವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆ.
For [there are] no bands in their death: but their strength [is] firm.
ಬೇರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ಅವರು ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಬೇರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ;
They [are] not in trouble [as other] men; neither are they plagued like [other] men.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಗರ್ವವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಂಠಮಾಲೆಯಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ.
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them [as] a garment.
ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನಿಂದ ಉಬ್ಬಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತವೆ; ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಆಶಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇವೆ.
Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
ಅವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋದವರು. ಸಂಕಟ ಪಡುವವರ ವಿಷಯ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ ಗರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly [concerning] oppression: they speak loftily.
ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಮಾತೇ ನಡೆಯುವದು.
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಜನರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಾನವು ಯಥೇಚ್ಚವಾಗಿ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full [cup] are wrung out to them.
ಅವರು-- ದೇವರು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಲ್ಲನು? ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಉಂಟೋ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
ಇಗೋ, ಇಹಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುವ ದುಷ್ಟರು ಇವರೇ, ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Behold, these [are] the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase [in] riches.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಲ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರಪರಾಧ ದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಳೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Verily I have cleansed my heart [in] vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
ನಾನು ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ಪೀಡಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಪ್ರತಿ ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಯಾಯಿತು.
For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಂಶಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಆತಂಕ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend [against] the generation of thy children.
ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದಾಗ, ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ವರೆಗೆ
When I thought to know this, it [was] too painful for me;
ಅದು ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವರ ಅಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡೆನು.
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; [then] understood I their end.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಜಾರುವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ; ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆಳಗೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಿದ್ದೀ.
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದಿ. ಅವರು ದಿಗಿಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
How are they [brought] into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
ಎಚ್ಚತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ ಕನಸು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಎಚ್ಚರವಾದಾಗ ಅವರ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವಿ.
As a dream when [one] awaketh; [so], O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
ಹೀಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ವ್ಯಥೆಗೊಂಡಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಿಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿವಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮೂರ್ಖನಾಗಿ ಏನೂ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಪಶು ವಿನಂತೆ ಇದ್ದೆನು.
So foolish [was] I, and ignorant: I was [as] a beast before thee.
ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ; ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದೀ.
Nevertheless I [am] continually with thee: thou hast holden [me] by my right hand.
ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ ತರು ವಾಯ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವಿ.
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me [to] glory.
ಪರ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ನೀನಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ? ನಿನ್ನ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Whom have I in heaven [but thee]? and [there is] none upon earth [that] I desire beside thee.
ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸವೂ ಹೃದಯವೂ ಕುಂದುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಬಲವೂ ಪಾಲೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
My flesh and my heart faileth: [but] God [is] the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
ಇಗೋ, ನಿನಗೆ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವವರು ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಜಾರತ್ವ ಮಾಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲ ರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.ನನಗಾದರೋ ದೇವರ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವದೇ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಭರವಸವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
ನನಗಾದರೋ ದೇವರ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವದೇ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಭರವಸವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
But [it is] good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
